#AtoZChallenge: I for INSPECTOR STEEL

This is my first time participating in the A to Z Blogging Challenge and I am so excited!
My blog posts all through April will follow the theme: "My favourite Indian comics/cartoon characters."

Inspector Steel is our very own Desi Robocop and my favourite hero since childhood. He was dedicated, smart, strong and despite being a machine more human than most normal humans.

Created by Naresh Kumar, Lalit Sing, Pradeep Sherawat and published by Raj Comics, Inspector Steel made a place in my heart when a friend loaned me his comics to read. I instantly became a fan and still feel loyal towards my hero even after all these years!

Inspector Amar lost some major parts of his body after an accident. In order to save his life, his brain was placed into a mechanical body; making him a cyborg. His friend, Professor Anees, was the one who performed this operation.

Inspector Steel is composed of armor plating, ICs, chips, various weapon systems, and electronic wizardry. The only human part within him is his brain, which is wired to the rest of the systems.

He is a supercop in the Raj Nagar police force and is often faced with dangerous criminals. Machine and yet not insensitive, his action packed comics are sure to leave me excited and inspired to tackle all odds even today. :)

Come back tomorrow to checkout my favourite Indian cartoon/comics character whose name starts with J!
