Feature & Follow is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. The purpose is to meet new people and gain more followers in the book blogging community.
If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers. But you have to know, the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

Question of the Week:

Have you ever been to BEA? If not, what's stopping you? If you have, what was your best experience there? - Suggested byThe Paperback Princess

I have never to a BEA because I live in India. I have been to book fairs and author meets in India and they are absolutely splendid and a great way to meet and interact with new and old authors. :)

Question of the Week:
Where is your favorite place to read?
I love reading while laying on my bed. My bed overlooks the window and so it is a perfect spot, both relaxing and close enough that I can enjoy the view from my window which overlooks the trees with plenty of varied birds chirping as they lounge on those trees.
This is my favourite place.

What's yours?

#SnapYourWeek is a weekly meme hosted by Inderpreet at Eloquent Articulation. Checkout the below rules and participate in this very interesting activity. :)

How to  #SnapYourWeek

1.  Take a picture that you feel was the most memorable or influential moment of your week and post it on your blog. Use the hash-tag #SnapYourWeek

2.  Describe the picture in 20 words or less if you wish. No more than 20 words but none if you don’t want to!

3.  Please share the URL to your post by clicking the “add your link” button at the end of this post and filling out the information.

4.  Very significant! Please share the #SnapYourWeek linkup post with your blog readers.  Kindly do visit some of the blogs listed in the linkup and comment on their posts

5.  Do it every week for 52 weeks every Friday.

Here is my week in 1 pic:

So much has happened this week. I got so many surprises including a pack of Ariel from Blogadda and Indiblogger! :)

Won 3 competitions, received praise for my writing from fellow and readers bloggers, my blog crossed the 100000 visitor count benchmark, got some awesome books to read via mail like Frozen Summer & Columbina by bloggers turned author Geetha Madhuri and Cynthia Daniel, Shattered Dreams by Shubha Vilas etc. (Will share my TBR list's new additions tomorrow. Do drop by tomorrow to check it out and share yours).

This week has been great. But the real surprise came this morning when I got news that I had been selected by the esteemed cricketer Harsha Bhogle in his #BloggerDreamTeam!
I could not believe my eyes and I am so happy that I got selected. There were 931 bloggers who participated and only 11 have been selected so it was pretty tough competition but I am glad to have made it.

How was your week?

  1. I've never been to BEA, either, Nikita. But I have been to the Brooklyn Book Fest once, kind of by chance, really, because I was in NYC with my husband, and hadn't planned around the festival.
    Have a fantastic Friday!

  4. Following via GFC now. Same here, I'm not from the US ughhh. That question legitimately made me angry. As if everyone had the means to/even lived remotely close to wherever the heck they do BEA.

  6. I didn't quite think it that way Jen...I attended and have had a lot of fun at the author and book events in India so I am happy. However, this week's question is a little specific.

Don't be angry...Chill and have fun at the events in your country and also interact with authors on the web. The internet has made everything so accessible now that I dont feel any issues at having not attended BEA. LOL :)

Thanks for dropping by and following!
