Peanut Salad (Moongphali ki Salad) Recipe

Peanuts also known as Moongphali in Hindi are a great source of energy and are rich in nutritional value. Abundant source of Vitamin E, Folate, Magnesium, Zinc etc., I love the crunchiness of roasted peanuts and often include them in my recipes.

Today's recipe is for a very simple, quickly put together Peanut Salad (Moongphali ki Salad) that requires ingredients that are easily found in every kitchen and is lip smacking delicious. Ideal for weight watchers, this salad is high fiber, full of healthy ingredients and filling.

Ingredients required:

1 cup roasted peanuts (moongphali),
1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes,
1/4 cup finely chopped onion,
1 tsp crushed black pepper,
Black Salt to taste,
1/2 tbsp lemon juice,
1 tsp roasted Cumin (jeera) powder,
Fresh Green Coriander for garnishing

Steps to prepare Peanut Salad (Moongphali ki Salad):

1) Mix all the ingredients in a salad bowl and garnish with fresh green coriander.

2) Enjoy this crunchy and tangy salad.
