Almond Rabri (Badam ki Rabri) for babies Recipe:

Badam Rabri is full of nutrition, is very simple to prepare and so tasty that it always makes my mouth water!

A rich source of good fat, fibre, Vitamin E and protein to name a few nutrients, today's #FoodieFriday recipe is suited to babies over 8 months and adults too.

Ingredients required:


14 almonds soaked overnight and then ground in a paste.

1 tbsp grated Gur (Jaggery),

500 ml full cream milk

1/2 cup cream

1 tbsp soaked and ground rice paste.

Steps to prepare Almond Rabri (Badam Rabri)


a) Heat milk in a pan and add the rice paste and ground almond paste to it.
b) Boil on medium flame for one minute and then simmer for five minutes till the milk thickens.
c) Add the cream and stir for a minute on low flame.
d) Remove from flame and add the grated jaggery (gur). Stir till it dissolves.
e) Refrigerate and serve cold.

  1. that looks like a healthy treat for babies, i'd like to try with my 3yrs old kid, but I'm not sure where to find the gur. hopefully I could get the ingredients here locally. thanks for sharing.

    1. Often times the best and most nutritious food items are in our kitchen but due to lack of awareness we get attracted towards the readymade baby foods that often contain ingredients not healthy for our kids. I am so happy my recipe is helpful to you Viano. ☺️
