Book Review:
Nadia has faced many sorrows in her life and devastation seems to follow her everywhere she goes like it does when a new boss in her company threatens her fragile new existence. As if this is not enough, the same brooding man is the new neighbour come to live with his young daughter next door to her!
Silent, brooding and ruthless, this man is soon creating chaos both in Nadia’s personal and professional life. Falling in love in not an option but still Nadia’s heart gives a flutter whenever he is around.

Will Nadia be able to survive this storm or will it blow away her carefully built world?

I had loved Devika’s first book, When I see your face and if I thought that was amazingly written, wait till you read this one! Kaleidoscope of Hopes had my heart racing and excitement mounting with every turned page. I absolutely loved Lucas with his devilishly handsome looks, his silently brooding personality, his mysterious past life and his heated and intense interactions with Nadia. Devika has created a realistic world where she delves deep into the struggles, aspirations, hopes and yearning for love in people from all strata of society be it the rich and powerful like Lucas or the struggling middle class people like Nadia.

The blurb is interesting and will definitely intrigue readers to pick up the book to read. The cover is also sweet but it can be made more appealing.

The plot is meticulously conceived and executed with each setting, character, emotion and suspense building step expertly brought out on paper. I was intrigued about both Nadia and Lucas’ past lives which are hinted but never disclosed until the most opportuned time. The author is successful in building the interest and engagement of the reader with the romance, the mystery surrounding both the protagonists and the heartwarming interactions between Nadia and Lucas’ daughter.

The characterization is expertly done and after a long time, I have loved the hero so much in a book. The intense romantic situations between Nadia and Lucas had me sighing, giggling like a teenager, feeling the yearning for love they both had for each other and then rooting for a happily-ever-after for these two.

The twists and turns in the story come as a surprise and had me engrossed in the story until the very end. Definitely a must-read and one that I can re-read multiple times, I give Kaleidoscope of Hopes 4.5 out of 5 and strongly recommend it to all lovers of romance. Go read and enjoy the book. This one is not to be missed!

Devika is a very talented writer and I am surely going to read her other books. Go checkout her books and enjoy! 🙂

I received the book from the author to read and review and I am very thankful to her. The above review is my honest and unbiased opinion and in no way influenced.

Some quotes from the book that I loved:

“You can only get hurt if you allow it. You can only find happiness if you search for it. You can only succeed if you try and maybe fail along the way. It’s all in your hands. It’s all up to you. You can’t wish for a second chance, you are the second chance.”

“We are not given a good life or a bad life. We are given a life. It’s up to us to make it good or bad.”
