Book Review:
In Firefly Valley by Amanda Cabot is the second book in the Texas Crossroads series but the first book that I have read in this series as well as by the author and I absolutely loved the book.

Although part of a series, it can be read as a standalone but I would advise you to read it in order because characters from the previous book also make an appearance in this one and while not very problematic, it sure would have been better for me had I read the previous book first.

This a story of love, forgiveness and the power of faith.

Marissa has seen so much sadness in her past and then she loses her job too. Now working as manager in the struggling Rainbow’s end resort, she meets an author Blake Kendall who is staying there as guest. Is he the right man for her?

There is suspense, drama, real life problems and then the power of forgiveness and faith in this book. Amanda Cabot takes us to Bluebonnet Lake and the Firefly Valley where there is not only beauty but also much drama.

I loved how the author developed her characters showing the reader not only the various facets of life but also inspiring us to never lose faith and always strive for happiness even in the face of adversity.

Marissa and Blake are both characters honed by their past and each made me love them because of different reasons.

The story is well paced and had me engaged throughout. I dont want to giveaway much but go read this lovely story and fall in love.

All in all, In Firefly Valley by Amanda Cabot is a lovely story that made itself memorable to me and I recommend it to everyone. 4.5 out of 5 to it. Go read and enjoy this beautiful story. I know I will be checking the other books in this series in the future.

I received the book from the publishers via Netgalley and I am very thankful to them. The above review is my honest and unbiased opinion and in no way influenced.
