Archangel’s Sun by Nalini Singh is the thirteenth book in the bestselling fantasy, paranormal romance “Guild Hunter“ series. This series is interconnected and while each book has a separate romance with a happy ending, in order to properly understand the story line you need to read this series in order. I missed reading the previous two books when I picked this book up to read and felt myself missing the train of narration so often that I ultimately stopped and went back to read the previous books first!
The “Guild Hunter” world is still reeling from the archangelic war and while the evil was defeated, it is still here to create chaos. Titus is given the task of stopping the reborn and this takes him to the Hummingbird. I have been waiting for Titus’ love story and never thought he would find his happily-ever-after with the Hummingbird but Nalini Singh surprises and yet again shows that she is the expert at pairings even when they seem so different.
I sat glued to the story and adored reading each scene that took me deeper into the addictive world of the Guild Hunters. This series keeps surprising me and each book is better than the last.
Right from the plot, character development, expert take over from the previous book (“Archangel’s War“) to the intense romance, witty banter and the dangerous thrill of facing a worthy foe, this book has everything to keep you entertained throughout. I felt a plethora of emotions as I read this story. I cried, laughed, swooned, and bit my nails in suspense as I sat glued to my seat throughout rooting for my new favourite couple. At the end, I was left with a goofy smile and an eagerness to jump to the next book right away.
All in all, Archangel’s Sun by Nalini Singh is a must read paranormal romance that is definitely one of the best books of 2020. 4.5 out of 5 stars to it, Njkinny recommends this amazing book to all adult paranormal romance and fantasy lovers. If you loved the TV show “Supernatural” then you will adore this book and the “Guild Hunter” series.
