ARC Book Review:

Rescued by Love by Melissa Foster is the fourth book in The Ryders series which is also part of the bigger Love in Bloom series. While part of a series and despite recurrences of characters from previous books, this book can be read as a standalone story.

Addison West and Jake Ryder meet in a party and sparks fly but as is the case with Melissa’s books, here too, both these characters have many reasons to resist this attraction and run in the opposite direction when faced with their true feelings for each other. Will they be able to set conquer all their fears and embrace their true feelings?

This book has all the ingredients for entertainment. The atmosphere is relaxed, festive and homely with marriages, fun filled evenings with family and budding romance in the air. I felt like I was actually present there and thoroughly enjoyed revisiting the island with its fresh and soothing air away from the chaos of the city.

Further, satisfaction was provided by my beloved characters from the previous books who are all now happily together. I enjoyed getting further insight into their new lives and it was like meeting old friends.

Jake and Addy are both strong characters and their romance is hot and sassy. The kisses are toe curling and the intimate scenes scorching hot and sexy. The sex is beautifully balanced with the emotional upheaval of the characters and I felt connected with both Jake and Addy and rooted for their HEA all through the book!

All in all, Rescued by Love by Melissa Foster entertains and is a book that will further bolster your faith in the power of love. A perfect leisure read, I give it 4 stars out of 5 and recommend it to all adult lovers of romance.

I received an ARC from the author and the above is my honest and unbiased opinion and in no way influenced.
