FOUR WILDE BROTHERS…ONE WILDE COUNTRY BAND

WILDE RIDERS is the first novel in a spicy new contemporary romance series about four sexy brothers, their small-town bar and their local country band. WILDE RIDERS can be read as a STAND ALONE NOVEL or as part of the SERIES.

Cooper Wilde spent his entire adolescence counting the days until he could escape rural northwest New Jersey. Now at 26, he can’t believe he’s coming back. But his late father’s bar, Haymakers, is in financial trouble and his older brother, Jake, has asked for Cooper’s help.

Riley Smith, 25, is fresh out of her Ivy League MBA program and wants to make an impression on her employer, H & C Bank. Her first solo assignment is a fraud investigation on a business loan they made to Haymakers.

Even though Old Town is less than 90 minutes from New York City, Riley feels like she’s stepped into another world in this remote, one-bar town. Riley can’t wait to do her business and get back to the city as quickly as her sports car will take her…until she meets Cooper Wilde. He’s not like the other guys in this rural town and Riley feels inexplicably attracted to him.

Book Review:
Cooper Wilde has worked hard to rid himself of the stigma of being called a “hick from the sticks”. Now a successful Wall Street wannabe with a 6- Series BMW and on his way to making his first million before he turns thirty, the only thing he doesnt want happening to ruin his flow has happened and he is forced to go back to the one place he never wants to return..Home in New Jersey.
After his father’s death, six months ago, Jake, his elder brother took over the family business and has made a mess of everything.
Determined to save the business and return to his city life as quickly as possible, Cooper didn’t think anything could make him stay in New Jersey but Riley makes him rethink everything about his pre planned life.

Riley Smith is sent on a fraud investigation to New Jersey where she finds herself before the most handsome and intense man she has ever met. Cooper makes her wish for things she never thought she would have and even makes her think of staying in the remote Old Town which she would never wish for even in her wildest of dreams.

What is this attraction that simmers between them?
Is Cooper the man she has been searching for?
Can Cooper ever tell Riley of his real life in the city when it seems she is attracted to the small town man?

“Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.”

Savannah weaves an entertaining story of love, beliefs, ambition, inhibitions and gives the reader something to think about. Riley had preconceived notions of small towns which she thought were justified. Similarly, Cooper had some notions of his future away from Old Town and he had worked hard to make this a reality. But both these people are thrown together and forced to choose when they fall in love. Does love really conquer everything?

The characterization is beautifully done and the author makes the Wilde brothers, Riley, Patti and the townspeople of Old Town seem so real. The base for successive books is set in this book and she is able to intrigue the reader to go buy and read the next books in the series.

The description of characters was funny and spot on. Like Jake is described as
“He’s Mr. Carefree. Troubles slide off his back like syrup glides off pancakes.”

Shane as “Shane is anything but cute. If they were casting for The Hobbit in northwest New Jersey, he’d be at the top of the casting list.”

The town setting is vivid and I could imagine myself in such a place. Beautifully brought to life, the author intricately weaves her story in the backdrop of this age old town.

The book cover could have been better. It doesn’t incite instant interest in the book.

The scenes between Cooper and Riley are emotional, sensual and totally engaging. There is unfinished business between Jake and Cooper, among the Wilde brothers and between Jake and Harley. Simmering stares, intense personalities and great love making make this book a great read.

A 4.5 out of 5 to Wilde Riders and a strong recommendation that you go buy and read the book if you love an intense romance with a great story. I look forward to reading more from the author and definitely plan on reading this series. 🙂

I received the book from the author and the tour organizers and I am very thankful to them. The above review is my honest and unbiased opinion and in no way influenced.
