Book Review:
The Last-Chance Maverick by Christyne Butler is the fourth book in Montana Mavericks: 20 Years in the Saddle series but the first that I have read in this series as well as by the author. Although part of a series, the book can be read as a standalone.

I loved the blurb that got me intrigued enough to pick up the book to read.

This is the story of Vanessa, an art teacher and Jonah, an architect who has just returned to town to find Vanessa living in the his cabin that has been rented out to her by his mother. Instant sparks fly between them and while both have a past and their own insecurities, will love finally conquer all?

I enjoyed the story and loved Christyne’s narration style. The characters are well fleshed out and after this book, I know I will be reading the other books in this series as well as the other books by the author.

All in all, The Last-Chance Maverick by Christyne Butler is an entertaining, heartfelt romance that has me entertained. 4 out of 5 to it and recommended to all romance lovers.

I received the book from the publishers via Netgalley and I am very thankful to them. The above review is my honest and unbiased opinion and in no way influenced.
