What I liked:
The family dynamics in “Pride and Prejudice” are a central aspect of the novel, and Elizabeth Bennet’s relationship with her family is an important part of her character development.
The Bennet family is portrayed as dysfunctional, with a father who is distant and uninvolved in his daughters’ lives and a mother who is overly concerned with finding suitable marriages for her five daughters. What I didn’t like:

Another criticism of the novel is its lack of diversity. The novel is set in a very specific time and place. And also the characters are predominantly white and upper-middle-class. So, the absence of diverse perspectives and experiences limits the novel’s scope and relevance for modern readers.
