Asher Black by Parker S Huntington is a hot, intense, suspenseful, slow burn mafia romance that kept me hooked throughout!

I picked this book up randomly after getting intrigued by the blurb and title. Parker S Huntington is a new author for me and I am so glad I found her books!

Asher Black is her debut book and the first book in “The Five Syndicates” mafia romance book series featuring 5 Mafia families.

Things I Liked:

I am fairly new to the mafia romance genre and after reading my first mafia romance and absolutely loving it, I have become a fan of this category of stories. Asher Black engrossed me right from the start and soon became a guilty pleasure. I loved the easy banter, the mysterious yet dangerous edge to Asher, and the red hot chemistry between him and Lucy.

Add the suspense part, and the emotional play later, this book had me eagerly turning pages until the very end. 

I also sighed in delight, swooned, and loved every second spent reading this book. Asher and Lucy are my favourite couple now, and I am not ashamed to admit that I will be re-reading this book many times.

Had I not known that this was her debut book, I would never guess it by reading this one. Her storytelling is mature and so polished. Kudos to her for a job well done!
