What an awesome finale this book is!

Dev and Avi had intrigued me right from the start of this series, and I kept waiting to read their story through every new book. But I am so glad I waited because this book is so well worth the wait.

Every mystery is solved and all loose ends tied in a neat knot. Dev had been a villain and a sinner but by the end I rejoiced his redemption. He endured so much and loved so much. Avantika’s heartbreak had been my own for so long and I jumped in joy when she was finally healed.

Dev and Avantika’s happily ever after is my favourite. And Avantika is one of the best heroines created by Sapna Bhog. This series is must read and this finale not to be missed. I loved every second spent reading this engrossing story, and it aced all my expectations.

Featuring an anti-hero and a strong heroine , lots of angst, an edge of your seat mystery, a sizzling romance that had me glued to the book throughout and a whole cast of characters that already have my heart, this book is one of my Top Indie Romance reads of 2022.

Things that could be better:

While I enjoyed this book, I also felt that Avantika’s character in this book wasn’t as strong and bold as shown in the previous books. So, for a woman who hadn’t even uttered her former lover’s name in twelve years, she forgave Dev a little too easily. I had expected a more intense and fierce showdown between these two lovers-turned-enemies.

Sapna Bhog has the talent of sketching and bringing alive a varied bunch of characters. Her characters are people we can relate to. And they soon become like family and friends!

The same happened in this series, and this book. While I adored meeting the Rajpoot siblings and their better halves, I also adored meeting Avantika’s eleven year old son Neil, their family friend Rajiv and his family. 

The jealousy and enmity fuelled banter between Rajiv and Dev had me entertained. And Dev and Neil’s bonding over Harry Potter movies made me sigh in delight. Then the bickering, and emotional outbursts among the Rajpoot family is a joy to witness. They represent a cohesive, supportive, loving, and loyal family that is worth coveting.

Also Dev’s face-off with each member of the Rajpoot clan is also a memorable ride to experience.

Dev and Avantika:

I loved loved loved Dev and Avi and Dev is my new book boyfriend. He is intense, complex, enigmatic, and an alpha hero possessive about his lady love. So, a man who will seriously ruin real life men for readers, he became my favourite tortured hero.

I cried so hard after reading this scene. Dev’s anguish and his yearning to get Avi back is so evident here. Plus I was so excited to see the mystery of that day solved.

Then Avi is one of the best heroines written by Sapna Bhog and one of my favourite heroines now. She endured so much and still never surrendered to her circumstances. So, a woman who inspires, I jumped in joy when she got her happy ending.

All in all, Dev and Avantika’s happily ever after is my favourite and Avantika is one of the best heroines created by Sapna Bhog. This series is must read and this finale not to be missed. I loved every second spent reading this engrossing story, and it aced all my expectations.
